Welcome to the
Seeds School

A note from the Headteacher.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to all staff, students, parents and carers during the last twelve months here at The Seeds School. Our latest Ofsted report is a true testimony to the tireless work and effort everyone within our school community has invested in.

Significant improvements to our school in all areas of the inspection framework has been achieved. Our firm aim and resolve to help students engage in and achieve a good education is a true reality. To quote from author Kate Elliot, ‘The seed is the kernel of what you are, but it is also the promise of what you can become.’ This well describes the aspirations and achievements of our students and staff.

I am immensely proud of everyone that has assisted the school and our students on this journey.

Please be assured that work doesn’t stop here for us as school. We have further ambitions and goals to achieve.

In the meantime, please enjoy reading our latest Ofsted report which renders our school and its provision as ‘Good’.

Rob Pritchard - Headteacher

Our Independent School provides alternative education supporting young people who have become disengaged from mainstream learning and those who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We have two school sites based in Telford and Walsall.

The Seeds School is a non-denominational school for boys and girls aged between 14 and 16 years at KS4.

Our innovative and diverse range of vocational learning is at the heart of our curriculum. We include all key areas of the national curriculum which is embedded throughout the young person’s tailored learning programme.

Due to us working with small cohorts of students our team can devote the time and support needed to equip learners with social, emotional and mental health needs.

At The Seeds School our focus is to help young people engage, achieve and thrive in both education and life beyond school.

We offer both fulltime and part time provision.

The Seeds School has a wide network of expertise from experienced staff and professionals supporting young people in areas of personal development, pastoral care, social awareness, engagement and preparation for employment.

Our bespoke curriculum enables young people to progress and attain life skills with valuable qualifications, equipping them for life’s journey.

“The history of the world begins with a seed. The seed is the kernel of what you are, but it is also the promise of what you can become.”

— Kate Elliot
